Who am I?
My name is Michael Netherton. I've been involved with computers since 1987, providing hardware and software support. As the internet became mainstream in 1995, I began developing websites both comercially as well as for fun and entertainment. In 1996, I launched ITL Enterprises, an online business offering antique traffic signals for sale. The site soon expanded into sales of old Duncan parking meters and eventually into the sale of used railroad signals. During this time, I put a great deal of effort and time into learning the "tricks" of search engine optimiztation. Back then, my goal was to rank well on Excite.com. While Excite still exists, it is no longer a player in the search engine scene.
Over the years, I've owned and/or managed several commercial web properties, all of which depended on being able to be found in the search engines of the day. Once Google came along, the game changed forever. Google, while not perfect, is the most used search engine in the world. Today, if you're not found on Google you're just not found. As technology has eveloved, I've kept up with the changing landscape of SEO. I've tried the "black hat" methods and while they work for the short term, unless you're pedaling pyramid schemes or ED treatments, I've found that the most sucessful websites are the ones that play by the rules, putting the necessary effort into a long term strategy of search engine optimiztion. That's the service I'm offering to you. A long term commitment to bring your site up from wherever it may be and expose it to the masses.

I'm very picky when choosing to take on a client because this is a partnership. There will be "homework" which a prospective client will need to do before, during and after the optimization.
How serious are you?
SEO is not an overnight elixer. It is a process that requires research, planning, execution and finally, fine tuning. If I don't think I help you, I'll be the first one to say so. There is no point in taking on a client without a high degree of probability that the end results will be worth the effort and the expense. If you've gotten this far, then it's time to discuss your needs.
